Galanthus elweisii var monostictus Hiemale Group (Garden)

Dispatched January to March.

This is a snowdrop grown unmolested at the nursery for 35 years under the name G. caucasicum Hiemale. We are guided by the RHS plantfinder to its renaming though some doubt remains in my own mind. Very early flowering form of elwesii, flowers first appearing as early as the middle of December onwards till mid February.
